The Esther Home
MISSION STATEMENT
The Esther Home provides safe, transitional housing and holistic support for young women ages 18–26, creating a nurturing environment where they can heal from past experiences, explore their identity, and build the life skills, education pathways, and employment stability needed to move forward with confidence and purpose.
VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is a future where every young woman
feels safe, supported, and confident in who she is and where she is
headed. We envision a generation of young women who are healed,
self-aware, and equipped to step into their lives with confidence,
resilience, and purpose.
Founder, Kim Petree
I am passionate about creating spaces where young women feel safe, seen, and supported as they discover who they are and where they’re headed. Alongside my husband, Eric, I’ve spent years building community centered environments focused on connection, healing, and personal growth and that heart is what led to the vision behind Esther Home
Esther Home was created from a deep desire to walk alongside women in a pivotal season of life, offering stability, mentorship, and the tools needed to build confidence, independence, and a healthy sense of identity. I have a special heart for women and the next generation, and it is truly one of my greatest joys to witness lives change as young women begin to believe in themselves and step into their potential.
My background in education, including years teaching in an inner-city classroom, shaped my understanding of how powerful consistent support and encouragement can be. It was there that I discovered my gift for connecting with young people, speaking life into uncertain seasons, and helping others envision a future filled with hope and possibility.
Through Esther Home, my mission is simple: to create a nurturing, structured, and empowering environment where young women can heal, grow, and build a strong foundation for their next chapter. I believe every young woman deserves a place where she is valued, guided, and reminded that her story is still unfolding and Esther Home exists to be that place.
